Standing at an impressive 60 meters tall, it serves as the tallest church on the peninsula. It features rich Byzantine-style mosaics and dramatic gold detailing. Consecrated in 2007, it functions both as an active house of worship and as a literal beacon. The large golden sphere beneath the cross houses a modern lighthouse lantern system to aid ships on the water. The entire site serves as a memorial dedicated to sailors, travelers, and fishermen who have perished at sea. The lower level of the complex houses a fascinating Museum of Water Disasters. 🇷🇺
